“AASHIRVAAD SVASTI MAA KNOWS BEST CONTEST”

These terms and conditions apply to the “AASHIRVAAD SVASTI MAA KNOWS BEST CONTEST” shall hereinafter be referred to as “the Contest”
The Contest is open only for Indian citizens (Female) residing in Delhi + NCR Territory only and above the age of 18 years.
Phase 1 of the Contest shall be open from 00:00 hours on 10th November 2017 and shall close on 14th November 2017 at 23:59 hours.
A team can consist only of 2 Participants (both Female) having mother –daughter /mother-in law-daughter-in-law relationship. The mother-daughter relationship/connotations to the same mentioned throughout this document/our advertisements for this contest includes mother-in-law/daughter-in-law relationship as well.

PHASE 1- AASHIRVAAD SVASTI MAA KNOWS BEST CONTEST - WHATSAPP/AASHIRVAAD SVASTI GHEE FACEBOOK PAGE

In Phase 1 of the Contest, participating team members will need to submit selfies with their mother/daughters respectively, an answer to ‘Best cooking tip you received from your mother’ and their city of residence on our Whatsapp number-7400485555/Facebook page –http://www.facebook.com/aashirvaadsvasti
Teams participating or seeking to participate in the Contest shall individually be referred to as “Participant” and collectively as “Participants”.
Participation in this Contest is purely voluntary. By participating in this Contest, each Participant is deemed to have accepted the complete terms and conditions of this Contest
The Top 5 entries will be selected by on the basis of creativity, uniqueness & originality of the answer to ‘Best Cooking tip you received from your mother’.
The top 5 winning teams will be contacted to submit the following additional details.

By participating in this contest, the Participants agree to share their personal information with ITC and its associates, affiliates for the purposes of the conducting the Contest.
The top 5 winning teams would be contacted a maximum of 3 times. In the event of no response from the winners, they would be disqualified and their replacements for cooking challenge shall be identified from the remaining participating teams.
The top 5 winning teams shall receive a ITC Products gift hamper worth Rs 2000/-( inclusive of all taxes) per team as prize/ gift hamper and an invitation to participate in Aashirvaad Svasti Maa Knows Best contest at the HT Palate Fest on 19th November.
Incomplete/ Incorrect entries which are not in the format mentioned on the Whatsapp number /Aashirvaad Svasti Ghee Facebook page will not be accepted.
Top Five Winning teams shortlisted for the Contest to be conducted at the HT Palate Fest will be announced on Aashirvaad Svasti Facebook page on 16th November (http://www.facebook.com/aashirvaadsvasti) at 8 pm. The address and time for arrival of the Participating teams shall be provided in on the Facebook page.
ITC reserves the right to terminate, modify or extend this Contest , at its absolute discretion without notice and without any liability, without assigning any reason whatsoever.
Participating teams making statements which are contrary to existing law, bye-laws, public policy, established good practices or terms & conditions stated herein shall be disqualified from further participating in the Contest.
The top 5 winning teams of the phase 1 of the Contest will have to be present on Aashirvaad Svasti Ghee counter at HT Palate Festival on 19th November 2017 on timings & venue as declared on Aashirvaad Svasti Ghee Facebook page on 16th November to collect their gift hampers..

PHASE 2- AASHIRVAAD SVASTI MAA KNOWS BEST CONTEST AT HT PALATE FEST

The participation in the Contest at HT Palate Fest is strictly on invitation only. Only the top 5 entries announced on Aashirvaad Svasti Ghee Facebook page on 16th November would be eligible for participation.
The presence of both ‘mother & daughter’ of the participating duo is mandatory.
The participating daughter for each team would be asked to cook a recipe. The ingredients & kitchenware for making the same would be provided by the organisers. The timings for preparation of the dishes would be communicated during the challenge itself.
The rules of participation in the Contest at the HT Palate Fest shall be announced at the venue and at the time as provided in the on Aashirvaad Svasti Facebook page
The judging panel would consist of the mothers of participating teams and ITC Hotels’ Chef ( for recipes cooked by daughters).
The final dishes made by Participants would be judged basis taste, texture, aroma & overall appearance.
The score of a ‘mother-daughter duo’ team would be the cumulative score of the individual scores of the dish made by daughter divided by the number of mothers judging the panel plus the scores on the same dish by the ITC Hotel’s Chef on the parameters of taste, texture, aroma & overall appearance.
In case of a tie for the winning team, the ITC Hotels’ chef would ask another recipe to be prepared by the tied teams & judge the same basis taste, texture, aroma & overall appearance himself.
The decision of the judging panel would be final & binding on the Participants.
The winning team shall receive an ITC Hotels’ dinner voucher. The terms of use/validity of the dinner voucher worth Rs. 20,000/- (inclusive of all taxes) shall be mentioned on the voucher itself.
Winning team of the Contest at HT Palate Fest will be announced on 19th November 2017 in HT Palate Fest itself.
The prize/ gift hamper is neither transferable, replaceable nor upgradeable and no cash payment in lieu of the same will be made.
Multiple entries from the same participating teams are not acceptable. Also, each Participant can send entries only as part of 1 team.
Winners would be contacted a maximum of 3 times. In the event of no response from the Participants or the winners, ITC shall not be held responsible for non-delivery of prizes or gift hampers.
Winners and Participants would need to furnish their valid photo id proof at Aashirvaad Svasti Ghee counter at HT Palate Fest in order to receive the gift hampers/prize.
ITC reserves the right to not give away the prize/ gift hamper in the event of submission of false, incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information and/or in the event of fraud practices like website or mobile system hacking, etc.
Participants shall bear the cost of travel to and fro the venue to participate in this contest. ITC shall not be liable to reimburse or provide for the cost incurred by the Participants to participate in the Contest.
The prizes/ gift hampers will be given to the winner(s) post completion of such audit and verification process as deemed fit by ITC.
ITC is not liable to provide warranty or assurance as to the merchantability or fitness of the prizes/ gift hampers given. Any issues with any of the prize/ gift hamper are to be taken up directly with the manufacturer.
By availing the prizes/ gift hampers and/or taking part in the Contest, all Participants agree that ITC shall be at liberty to use Participants and/or photo and/or video that may appear in any advertisements / promotions/media coverage or publicity in any form which exists today or will be known anytime in the future, without any consideration to the Participant and/ or the Winner. No fees or other sums are to be paid to the Participants on account of taking part in the aforementioned advertisements / promotions.
Copyright on the photographs/ creatives or other media shall vest exclusively in ITC. The Participants agree to perform at the request of ITC all lawful acts and execute, acknowledge, and deliver all documents/instruments including assignments deemed necessary, useful, or appropriate by ITC to vest in ITC or its assignee the entire and absolute right, title, and interest in and to the Intellectual Property Rights.
ITC shall not be liable for any personal injury during the Contest, any loss due to delay or destruction or damage of prizes/gift hampers due to Act of God, Governmental actions, riots, loss/damage and other force majeure circumstances and shall not be liable to pay any amount as compensation, or damages, for any such loss, delay or damage.
ITC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, or assigns are not liable and do not have obligation with respect to

(i) notifications, communications or materials sent by a Participants, that are lost, late, misdirected, garbled, inaccurate, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, damaged or otherwise not received by ITC, in whole or in part, due to computer, post office or technical error of any kind,
(ii) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties,
(iii) power-related or weather-related events of any kind, and/or to any event not under ITC’s direct control,
(iv) entries or other communications from Participants that contain inaccurate information or do not comply with these rules,
(v) errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation or transmissions, theft, destruction, unauthorized access or alterations by Participants or third parties,
(vi) any damages or losses of any kind caused by any gift resulting from acceptance, possession or use of any gift. ITC, in their sole discretion, reserve the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or otherwise violating these rules.
ITC further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify this contest if this contests cannot be conducted or completed as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort or cancellation of the HT Palate Fest or cancellation of ITC’s sponsorship of the HT Palate Fest.
The Contest shall be adjudged by ITC and the decision of ITC will be final and binding with regard to any dispute arising out of this contest and is non-contestable.
This Contest is not open for employees of ITC and its affiliates, associates and their families.
All disputes relating to this Contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts at Bengaluru only.
No correspondence, other than those required under the Contest shall be entertained.
